Knowledge Development - (online home study or in a classroom ) this gives you the basic principles and knowledge needed for safe and enjoyable diving. There are five modules. These are studied in your own time using the PADI Open Water Diver Manual and the PADI Open Water Diver DVD. You then go over what you have learnt with an instructor to ensure that you understand it thoroughly.
Confined Dives (Pool/Shore Dives) In the pool/Shore you will have a basic swimming skills test – 200 metre swim and a 10 minute float. You will then learn the scuba skills required to become a safe diver, as well as experiencing your first breaths underwater!
Open Water - Four open water dives are required for certification. Two dives are conducted per day, to review your skills and explore! You now get a chance to put to practice what you learnt in the pool and a taste of the adventures that lie ahead.
